On one of the early spring days, our good friend Diana was celebrating her 29th birthday. The function was organized in Curators House Restaurant located in Botanic Gardens of Christchurch. That was a very good choice of the venue, amazing place in a beautiful location – that is what required for a good birthday celebration with the close friends and family.
As a part of the event, we decided to turn our company’s Jaguar into Diana’s private premium taxi and it was her primary means of transportation for the evening. She even took a picture with the car to save some interesting memories of that day.
Since a separate room in the restaurant was provided for the celebration, I did not take any rig with me and played my Alvarez AC65 unplugged, nevertheless, the volume was good enough for everyone to enjoy the music. Classic music performed on a guitar with nylon strings is always something special, which touches the feeling… Background music is a bit different from a normal stage performance, the musician must keep the volume and dynamics as required not to disturb the guests to communicate and give them some feel of groove at the same time. I have some similar experience in the past, however, this function was very special for me, as Diana is not just a customer, but our good friend.
By the way, she is running a little cleaning company, and her partner Oleg is doing vehicle detailing and headlamps lenses recovery polishing. If you need to clean a house, AirBnB or a car interior – feel free to contact me or them directly.
