The first Pool Rescue Interclub of the 2026/2027 season is here!
This is the first time SLSNZ will be using the new Parakiore Sport and Recreation Centre, and we are excited to welcome everyone along to be part of the action. Come down, support the competitors, and enjoy a great weekend of Pool Rescue racing.
Pool Rescue competitions are the first events of the surf sport season and provide a great opportunity for members to develop their swimming ability while practicing a range of rescue-based skills in the pool. Events include diving under obstacles, carrying manikins through the water (or rubber bricks for junior competitors), tube rescues, fin swimming, and line throws, all designed to simulate real rescue scenarios our lifeguards may face.
All event information can be found in the link below.
