Dust off the running shoes and come join our adult social sprint series this summer! For all ages 30+ No limits!!!
This will run over 6 weeks in Jan/Feb of 2026 and includes:
6 week training plan – (for in-person or remote sessions)
6 In-person training sessions (Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm) – Starting Wed 21st January -Lead by World Masters Athletics Champion & local coach Helena Dinnissen
Weekends – 5 Electronically timed competition opportunities to race with other adults over your choice from: 60m, 100m, 200m, 400m and 800m. We recommend only 2 or max 3 events in one day
These dates are:
- Saturday – 24th Jan
- Saturday – 31st Jan
- Friday 13th & Saturday 14th February
- Thursday 19th February
- Saturday 28th February
We will manage the competition entries so no need to register with a specific club!
Cost for the 6 weeks will be $150 – This covers the track hire, event entry fees and coaching.
If you can’t make the training sessions, you can still join in the competition weekends & train at the track in your own time (Track fee included in total cost).
We can’t wait to bring like-minded adults together on the track!!!
There will be levels of training available from:
Currently running – but not sprinting
Haven’t run or sprinted in a long time
Currently play team sport or other consistent activity
Those keen on field events or hurdles- we hope to run some have-a-go sessions for these alongside this series.
