The day before ‘Gilded: Van der Velden’s The Dutch Funeral’ opens for a short time, join us in the auditorium to watch a short film on Petrus van der Velden’s ‘Burial in the Winter on the Island of Marken [The Dutch Funeral]’. This short film was originally made for Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū’s exhibition ‘Closer: Old Favourites, New Stories’ in 2017.
