This course winds through the mature pine forest of Bottle Lake Forest Park in Christchurch, following a mix of smooth single-track and wide forestry roads beneath towering trees. The soft forest floor and minimal elevation gain make it a fast, highly runnable/walkable trail for all abilities, where participants can settle into an easy steady rhythm while enjoying the peaceful surroundings
