Duke Festival is a Surfing and Skateboarding Festival in Ōtautahi that celebrates the legacy of indigenous Hawaiian, Duke Kahanamoku and the impact this has had on our community.
What better way to celebrate Duke Kahanamoku’s legacy of sharing Aloha to the world through surfing than with some Casual Healing in our brand new village green – Te Hiato Kuaka! 💚
Specialising in a blend of roots, RnB, reggae and soul, Pōneke based Casual Healing, aims to inspire and spread messages of Aroha across the motu.

Supported by two incredible local bands King Tides and Single Malt, Salty Sessions will move you through a FREE evening of Aloha/Aroha, movement, smiles, connection and good vibes – all you have to do is turn up, make some noise and share your Aroha for our community and this line up of beautiful humans.
welcome to all – more info to come
