Green Drinks –Sustainability Through Te Ao Māori

Report

In order to understand sustainability through the lens of te ao Māori, we need to start from the beginning, the very beginning.

This month’s Green Drinks takes us through various creation stories to help build our understanding of what it means to be Tāngata Whenua and our relationship to land.

Alicia is a reo Māori kaiako and consultant with a passion for growing peoples understanding and connection with te ao Māori. Her whakapapa takes her to the banks of the Whanganui river, but works around Ōtautahi Christchurch. If you are up for exploring a different perspective between yourself and the land in which we live on, work on, and play on, then this is an event not to miss.
