Join We are Richmond, The White Room and The Green Lab at an outdoor Matariki weaving session at the Pop-Up Gallery at the Richmond Community Garden.

We will have lots of different materials to work with such as harakeke, ti kouka, and toi toi. People can share their skills and there will be some communal projects that people can join in.
There is also a large loom for a communal tapestry made with naturally dyed materials from The White Room and The Green Lab’s natural dye garden.
We will be meeting at The Shed Gallery (the big yellow shed) next to Riverlution Cafe, Richmond Community Garden. Event is weather permitting.
