As part of our 30th Anniversary Qiao Yi (Hong de) Lion & Dragon Dance team is pleased to hold the first ever New Zealand National Traditional Lion Dancing Competition in Christchurch. Come and witness the skills and artistic flair of lion dancers from around New Zealand. There will also be lion and dragon dance performances as well as drumming demonstration.
We are also holding our Anniversary Dinner on the same night and anyone interested to attend please contact us.
As part of our celebration a lion dance workshop will also be held on the 26-27 of October conducted by the world renown lion dance instructor extraordinaire Master H.P. Siow from Malaysia. Contact us for more details.
