Spring is here, and we’re back! Crop Swap Ōtautahi Christchurch at the Phillipstown Hub is the place to swap your spare seeds and seedlings, garden produce, foragings, garden tips, recipes, and homemade goodies for others’ lovely local kai and company.
Crop Swap Aotearoa brings together backyard gardeners, home bakers, and food foragers to swap and share fresh local food.
With spring upon us, we’d love to see you at our swap. Don’t worry if you don’t have anything to swap this time—come down and say hi anyway.
We’re Hannah and Jo, Phillipstown locals, and we’re growing a Crop Swap for Ōtautahi Christchurch locals with vegetable gardens, fruit trees, and foraging spots so we can all share and exchange the bounty we have grown or carefully and responsibly foraged.
Our next Crop Swap will take place at the Phillipstown Hub on Saturday, 11 October 2025, starting at 10.30am—so start planning what you’d like to see and share. (Please, no fungi or live animals, thanks.)
Crop Swaps take place at the Hub every second Saturday of the month throughout the growing season. Spread the word—we look forward to seeing you there!
