On Saturday 13 June, we’re celebrating something pretty special… Riverlution’s first birthday! 
Honestly, we’re still a bit bewildered at how this little parkrun, tucked into our tiny slice along the Ōtākaro Avon River, has grown into one of the highest-attended events in the country. It’s wild — and it’s all because of you.
Whether you’ve walked, jogged, run, volunteered, cheered, or just come along for the vibe, you’ve helped shape what Riverlution has become over the past year. From event #1 to now, it’s been full of connection, energy, and moments that are hard to put into words.
And speaking of words… there really aren’t enough to express our gratitude for our volunteers. Week in, week out, you show up, step up, and make the magic happen. Riverlution simply wouldn’t exist without you 
So come along and celebrate with us — wear your favourite parkrun gear, bring your smiles, and let’s mark one whole year of this incredible community.
