All are welcome to enjoy an evening of beautiful violin and piano music in Christchurch
A stunning program performed by two of New Zealand’s finest emerging artists. Listen to selections from romantic favourites including Tchaikovsky’s ‘Souvenir d’un lieu cher’, Schubert’s ‘Sonatina in A minor’, and Elgar’s ‘Salut d’amour’, alongside well-loved works by Saint-Saens, Debussy, and Kreisler. The recital will also feature charming folk music from Europe and the Americas.
Both from Christchurch, Rose Light and Gabriel Baird have been performing together since 2021. They have both had numerous sucesses in national and international competitions, and their previous concerts have been sold out. This is a fundraising concert for Rose’s continued violin studies in Austria. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see them play before she returns to Europe.
