Share Kai and Kōrero Hornby – Eritrean Night

Report

Join us Friday evening for our last event in Hornby, to connect with others over tasty food and share in the culture and cuisine of Eritrea.

On the menu is beloved and traditional Eritrean kai – including Doro Wat (braised chicken in a delicious sauce) or spiced lentils (vegan) served with injera (sourdough bread-like pancake) and round donuts – meat (halal), vegan and gluten-free options.

Share Kai is about creating spaces where we can come together, connect meaningfully over a meal and learn about the cultures that call our city home.

Snacks $4, meals $15, combos (main and sweet) from $16.50, drinks $1.50 with any combo.

Door sales. Pay wave and cash accepted. For takeaways please bring your own container!

Held in the lovely new events space at Hornby Community Centre.

All proceeds kept by the refugee and migrant background cooks involved in the Share Kai Cooks Collective.

Brought to you by Share Kai and Hornby Community Centre.
